{"id":151,"date":"2009-06-08T18:36:12","date_gmt":"2009-06-08T23:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/d-h-o.us\/home\/?p=151"},"modified":"2019-09-08T08:55:46","modified_gmt":"2019-09-08T13:55:46","slug":"how-to-mod-an-xm-inno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dho.co\/index.php\/how-to-mod-an-xm-inno\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Mod an XM Inno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Normally, I would not look into something like this, but the FCC rules that govern FM modulation are beyond inane and dictated by private interest groups.<\/p>\n<p>So if own an XM Inno there is a great firmware mod that allows you to use the FM modulator in your home cradle.<\/p>\n<p>0) to avoid bricking your Inno you need to update the firmware to v2.11 (currently it is the latest firmware)<\/p>\n<p>1) Download: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitcast.com\/archives\/Inno_Firmware_with_FM.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">firmware<\/a><br \/>\n2) Plug your Inno into it&#8217;s home cradle with the AC on<br \/>\n3) Connect the the USB cable to your computer<br \/>\n4) Place the file into your Inno&#8217;s root directory<br \/>\n5) Safely remove hardware<br \/>\n6) Disconnect the USB (leaving the Inno in the home cradle)<br \/>\n7) It will scan\/reboot\/done<\/p>\n<p>-It will now have a Samsung logo and FM modulate in the home cradle<br \/>\n&#8211; You will need to turn on FM modulation every time it restarts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Normally, I would not look into something like this, but the FCC rules that govern FM modulation are beyond inane and dictated by private interest groups.
