Okay, one more off topic topic post today.<\/p>\n

Occasionally, I want to send a txt message to a friend’s cell phone, and this is easily accomplished via email.<\/p>\n

1) You need to know the cell provider
\n2) Send an email to the 10 digit number @ the provider’s domain (5551235555@vtext.com)<\/p>\n

The catch is knowing all the domains.  I am tired of looking this up every time, so I am recording the common ones here:<\/p>\n

Verizon –> number@vtext.com
\nATT –> number@txt.att.net
\nSprint –> number@messaging.sprintpcs.com
\nT Mobile –> number@tmomail.net
\nAlltel –> number@message.alltel.com
\nNextel –> number@messaging.nextel.com
\nVirgin –> number@vmobl.com
\nBoost Mobile –> number@myboostmobile.com<\/p>\n
