Every kernal. ROM flash seems to be buggy.  Anyways to get wifi tether working for root users:<\/p>\n<p>1) <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/android-wifi-tether\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download Android Wifi Tether <\/a>(I used 3.1 beta9)<br \/>\n2) Place on SDcard and install<br \/>\n3) Turn on WiFi (okay if no networks in range)<br \/>\n4) Open Wifi Tether<br \/>\n&#8211; On the first boot, go to settings and select the Samsung Fascinate as the phone<br \/>\n5) Start the tether.<br \/>\n&#8211; If it&#8217;s work you will see the Green download\/red upload numbers<br \/>\n&#8211; If you don&#8217;t restart<br \/>\n&#8211; If you stop the tether you will need to restart before connecting to wifi or tethering again (sorry, it&#8217;s an unsupported phone, just be happy it works)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Samsung Charge is the must frustrating droid I have every worked with.
